    Safiétou Seck - Founder and CEO

    Safiétou Seck is a self-taught designer. After having opened a clothing store in 2000, in Washington, to benefit from the AGOA (African Opportunity and Growth Act) to mainly import African products in loincloth, she went back to Senegal where she had several jobs, notably assistant then Economy specialist at the U.S. Embassy in Senegal for 7 years. From that experience, she got a solid knowledge of the American market, and particularly its legislation on the importation of African products. She graduated from the American university in the U.S. with an MBA in Economics and International Business.

    WIC Capital is the first mechanism to provide suitable financing and support to women owned MSMEs in Senegal and West Africa. We aim to develop entrepreneurship and promote female leadership.
