Fatou Niang

After a Deug at the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar, she completed a specialization in International Affairs at the Institut Supérieur de Management de Dakar (ISM) and a Master in Management at CESAG.

Fatou Niang Ndiaye began her career as a sales representative at AMERGER CASAMANCE in 1994, then was appointed general manager in 2005.

In 2009, in addition to her duties as General Manager of AMERGER CASAMANCE, she was also appointed General Manager of SENEVISA for restructuring.

Après une carrière de 21 ans au sein du Groupe SA EDUARDO VIEIRA (Amerger et Senevisa sont ses filiales au Sénégal), elle a préféré rejoindre la SOPASEN (Société Sénégalaise de Pêche et d’Armement) pour d’autres défis toujours dans le secteur de la Pêche.

With 19 trawlers, a thousand jobs and an annual turnover of more than 17 billion CFA francs, SOPASEN is a major player in the fishing sector in Senegal.

Fatou Niang Ndiaye was vice-president of the Association of Shipowners and Fishing Industrialists in Senegal (GAIPES) from 2014 to 2020. Since 2020, she has been treasurer of GAIPES.

Fatou Niang Ndiaye is co-founder of FS PRO and ESKIMO, local Senegalese start-ups.

Fatou Niang Ndiaye a été la candidate choisie pour le Sénégal à l’AWEP (African Women Entrepreneurship Program) en 2011.

Fatou Niang Ndiaye has been a member of the Women Investment Club (WIC) since 2016. She was elected President of the WIC in July 2020 and her mandate was renewed in May 2022.
