Bagoré Bathily

Bagoré Bathily is a visionary entrepreneur who has turned a dream into a driver of socioeconomic development for West Africa. A veterinarian by training, he decided in 2006 to create La Laiterie du Berger in order to promote local milk and build a bridge between traditional farmers and urban markets. This bold venture gave rise to Dolima and made the company one of the most powerful symbols of social business in Africa.

Under his leadership, LDB became the first Senegalese company to be certified as a B Corp and attracted major international partners, proving that social impact and economic performance can go hand in hand.

Today, Bagoré Bathily continues to inspire a new generation of African leaders. Through his academic and institutional commitments, he champions a simple but revolutionary belief: when we value local resources and the communities that sustain them, we transform a nation for the long term.
