Diaka has 16 years of experience in guarantee funds, insurance and investment banks.
She holds a master's degree in applied economics (UNC Greensboro) and a bachelor's degree in agricultural economics (NC A&T State University).

Since 2019, she has served on the investment committees of the Fairtrade Access Fund and WIC Capital.

She was Acting National Director and Head of Agricultural Programs in Senegal (2019 – 2021), and Regional Director of Loans at Root Capital (2011- 2016).

She has also worked as a consultant for the AfDB, the World Bank and Aventura Partners, as well as an analyst at Citibank.

A polyglot (French, English, Wolof), expert in finance and risk analysis, she actively supports companies with a strong social impact.
