Dedee Ba Gueye

Dédée is a Senegalese entrepreneur with over three decades of experience in the distribution of medical and laboratory equipment. Since 1990, she has been the CEO of Technologies Services, a company she founded in Dakar. Under her leadership, the company has become a leading distributor for prestigious brands such as GENERAL ELECTRIC GEHC, MEDTRONIC, and BIORAD. 

Since January 2019, Dédée has also been a member of the WIC CAPITAL Investment Committee, where she plays a key role in promoting women’s investment. In parallel, she is active in several volunteer organizations. She has been a member of the Women’s Investment Club (WIC) since January 2016, and has been a member of the UCAD Foundation Board since January 2017. Her commitment to education is also demonstrated by her long-standing participation on the Board of Directors of SIPRES since 1992 and in the Groupe Scolaire Les Flamboyants since 2000. Since 2012, she has been Vice-President of COMEVA, an organization dedicated to civil rights and social action. 

Dédée obtained an engineering degree from the University of Technology of Compiègne (UTC) in 1986, followed by a DEA from the University of Orsay in 1988. She is particularly passionate about improving youth training in Senegal, the economic empowerment of women and investing in female entrepreneurship in West Africa. 

Through her multiple roles and commitments, Dédée continues to contribute significantly to the economic and social development of Senegal.
