Over the past five years at WIC Capital, Thiaba has focused on investment activities, financial inclusion, supporting women entrepreneurs, and corporate governance.

Having actively participated in the creation of the WIC Fund II, Thiaba Camara SY puts his experience and expertise at the service of COO Partner.

With a 33-year career in auditing, accounting and management consulting, she has supported numerous public and private institutions in all key sectors of the West African economy, building a solid international professional network over time.

For 27 years, she led Deloitte Senegal, a firm she founded in 1990.
She served for 8 years (2009–2017) on the board of directors of Deloitte Africa.

In 2017–2018, she joined AFIG Funds as Director of Operations.

Co-founder of the Women’s Investment Club (WIC), she is also Chair of the Board of Directors of WIC Capital.

She sits on several boards of directors of Senegalese companies such as La Laiterie du Berger, PAYDUNYA and FAR Limited Senegal.

Deeply involved in the non-profit sector, she is a director of TOSTAN International and chair of its audit committee.

A graduate of ESCP and a chartered accountant, she served at ONECCA as Secretary General and President of the National Quality Assurance Committee.
She is also a certified professional coach and mentor to young female entrepreneurs.
