Evelyne Dioh SIMPA is the Associate Director of WIC Gestion, which manages WIC Capital, an investment fund dedicated to women entrepreneurs in French-speaking West Africa. WIC CAPITAL was set up by the Women’s Investment Club Senegal, a group of 99 women from the private sector.

Before joining WIC Capital, she worked for the Sovereign Fund for Strategic Investments of Senegal (FONSIS), where she led, as an investment officer, more than €100 million in transactions in various sectors of activity including industry, renewable energy and agriculture. Previously, Evelyne worked for the General Inspection of the Société Générale group, where she participated in several consulting and audit missions in France and abroad.

She holds a Master's degree in Management and an Msc. in Management Control from EDHEC Business School in France, which she joined after her preparatory classes at the Lycée Louis Le Grand in Paris.

Evelyne’s life mission is to work on the development of the African private sector, by strengthening local SMEs and start-ups. She is also very interested in gender issues in modern African societies.

His work and commitment have earned him several recognitions:

• From 2021 to 2023, she was featured on the Choiseul 100 Africa ranking, as one of the 200 African leaders aged 40 and under who are expected to play an important role in Africa's development in the near future;
• In 2022, she was named one of the 40 Under 40 Black Women Shaping the Future of the Global Asset Management Industry (Black Women in Asset Management (BWAM) 40 under 40 list) ;
• In 2023, she was selected by Private Equity International magazine as one of the 40 future leaders of the Private Equity industry worldwide, notably in the “Dealmakers” category;
• In 2023, at the Africa Impact Investing Awards, he was awarded the prize “The Outstanding Individual Achievement of the Year” which goes to an individual who has contributed exceptionally to the development of impact investing on the continent.
